    Description

    Purpose:

    FinMark category 5e four-pair FTP cable is designed for aerial installation in local data networks: PBX, V.11, X.21, ISDN, Ethernet (10Base-T), ATM-25/52/155 Mbps, 100VG-AnyLAN, Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX), Token Ring 16/100 Mbps, Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T), Firewire 100 Mbps.

    Design:

    The cable consists of 4 pairs of conductors twisted together. The conductors are 24 AWG copper. The conductor insulation is high-density polyethylene. The pairs of conductors are placed in a common screen of aluminum foil under which an additional grounding conductor is laid. The twisted pair cable sheath is made of ultraviolet-resistant polyethylene (PE) black. The nominal external size of the cable is 6.4×9.8 mm.

    The high-strength supporting cable has a diameter of 1.5 mm (multi-wire 7×0.5 mm) and is assembled into a common cable structure with a twisted pair.

    The generally accepted color identification of conductors:

    • pair 1: white-blue ⁄ blue
    • pair 2: white-orange ⁄ orange
    • pair 3: white-green ⁄ green
    • pair 4: white-brown ⁄ brown

    Packaging: The self-supporting cable is wound on a reel, which is packed in a cardboard box.
