Description
Application:
The FinMark F690BVM coaxial cable with a wave impedance of 75 Ohms is designed for transmitting analog and digital signals in cable, satellite and terrestrial television distribution networks, including those using DOCSIS 2.0 or DOCSIS 3.0, connecting video surveillance systems, connecting terrestrial television and satellite antennas.
Compared to the 59th series cables, it has a central core of increased cross-section and improved electrical characteristics.
The cable is additionally reinforced with steel wire, so it can be used for suspended installation.
The main places for laying the FinMark F660BVM cable are suspension between buildings, on supports, external laying on walls and on the roofs of buildings.
Design:
The FinMark F690BVM cable in cross-section has the appearance of a “figure eight” with an outer sheath of polyvinyl chloride plastic. On one side is the coaxial part, consisting of a steel, copper-clad central conductor, a physically foamed polyethylene dielectric, a two-layer screen of aluminum foil glued to the dielectric and a braid of 90% filling. The other part of the sheath contains a power steel wire, which can be completely disconnected for ease of cable processing.
Cable designation type RG-6, RG-690
Among the offers from various manufacturers, one can often find the marking of coaxial cables RG-6 with improved braid or RG-690.
Such marking first began to be used in the middle of the 20th century for cables for various purposes. The designation of cables of the RG type has become widespread, therefore it is sometimes used even now, although this principle no longer accurately describes the features and characteristics of all cable models available on the market.
If you need a coaxial cable of the RG-690 type for suspension, RG-690BVM or you are looking for a replacement for the old RG-6 cable on a cable and with an improved braid, we recommend paying attention to the modern model FinMark F690BVM.
If you cannot find a cable with the necessary parameters yourself, ask a question using the form on the website or contact your DEPS manager – we will try to find the best option in the shortest possible time.
