Description
Purpose:
FinMark category 5e four-pair FTP cable is intended for use in local data networks: PBX, V.11, X.21, ISDN, Ethernet (10Base-T), ATM-25/52/155 Mbps, 100VG-AnyLAN, Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX), Token Ring 16/100 Mbps, Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T), Firewire 100 Mbps. For fixed installation inside premises, stations, buildings, equipment.
Design:
The cable consists of 4 pairs of conductors twisted together. Conductors are 24 AWG copper. Conductor insulation is high-density polyethylene. Conductor pairs are placed in a common screen of aluminum foil under which an additional grounding conductor is laid. The outer sheath of the cable is made of halogen-free, flame-retardant plastic (LSZH) orange. The nominal outer diameter of the cable is 6.1 mm.
The generally accepted color identification of the conductors:
- pair 1: white-blue ⁄ blue
- pair 2: white-orange ⁄ orange
- pair 3: white-green ⁄ green
- pair 4: white-brown ⁄ brown
Packaging:
