Four-pair UTP FinMark category 5e cable is intended for use in local data networks: PBX, V.11, X.21, ISDN, Ethernet (10Base-T), ATM-25/52/155 Mbps, 100VG-AnyLAN, Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX), Token Ring 16/100 Mbps, Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T), Firewire 100 Mbps. For fixed installation inside premises, stations, buildings, equipment. The cable sheath is made of white polyvinyl chloride plastic (PVC). The nominal outer diameter of the cable is 5.3 mm.
Commonly accepted color identification of conductors:
- pair 1: white-blue ⁄ blue
- pair 2: white-orange ⁄ orange
- pair 3: white-green ⁄ green
