FinMark UTxxx-SM-15 LSZH optical cable
FinMark UTxxx-SM-15 LSZH optical cable
- Cable type UT
- Design dielectric, Incombustible
- Application Inside buildings
Description
Usage:
A cable with a non-flammable sheath made of low-smoke halogen-free plastic compound (LSZH) can be used for laying inside buildings, in risers, attics, basements, as well as in channels and protective pipes of cable drainage. Small dimensions and weight also allow the cable to be pulled (or air-blown) into plastic pipes and microchannels. This design is also convenient for organizing cable entry into buildings from cable drainage collectors.
Design:
A cable with a central optical module, which can accommodate up to 24 optical fibers. A layer of reinforcing glass fibers is located on top of the modular tube. The sheath is made of low-smoke halogen-free plastic compound (LSZH). To increase resistance to tension, two aramid-plastic strength elements are built into the sheath.
The fully dielectric design of the cable eliminates any electromagnetic effects on the cable, eliminating the need to address grounding and electrical safety issues during installation and operation.
The cable is manufactured with fiber compliant with ITU-T G.652.D, review the specifications here.At the customer’s request, the cable can be manufactured with fibers according to ITU-T G.657.A1.
Main features:
- Small diameter and weight facilitate laying and installing the cable.
- Lightweight and flexible cable with an 5 cm permissible static bending radius allows installation in confined spaces.
- The completely dielectric design of the cable eliminates any electromagnetic effects on the cable, so there’s no need to address grounding and electrical safety issues during installation and operation.
- The sheath made of flame-resistant low-smoke halogen-free plastic compound (LSZH) allows the cable to be used indoor.
- The aramid rods built into the sheath provide additional tensile strength, without increasing the weight and reducing the flexibility.
- Moisture-proof fibers and hydrophobic filler ensure the cable core is protected from transverse moisture penetration.
- Reinforcing fiberglass provides additional protection against tension and rodents.
- Reinforcing fiberglass is in the form of rods and not scattered fibers, which is more convenient and safe during installation.
