Description
Application:
Coaxial cables of the 11th series with a wave impedance of 75 Ohm are designed for transmitting analog and digital signals in cable, satellite and terrestrial television distribution networks, including those using DOCSIS 2.0 or DOCSIS 3.0, connecting video surveillance systems, connecting terrestrial television and satellite antennas.
FinMark F1160BVM coaxial cable is ideal for important sections of the network, where its excellent electrical and operational characteristics are fully used: low attenuation, good shielding, mechanical strength.
The cable is additionally reinforced with steel wire, so it can be used for suspended installation.
The main places for laying the FinMark F1160BVM cable are suspension between buildings, on supports, external laying on walls and on the roofs of buildings.
Design:
The FinMark F1160BVM cable in cross-section has the appearance of a “figure eight” with an outer sheath of polyvinyl chloride plastic. On one side there is a coaxial part consisting of a steel, copper-clad central conductor, a physically foamed polyethylene dielectric, a two-layer screen of aluminum foil glued to the dielectric and a braid of 90% filling. The other part of the sheath contains a power steel wire, which can be completely disconnected for ease of cable processing.
Cable designation type RG-11, RG-1160, RG-1160BVM
Among the offers from various manufacturers, it is quite common to find the marking of coaxial cables RG-11, RG-11 with a standard 60% braid, or RG-1160.
Such marking was first used in the middle of the 20th century for cables for various purposes. The designation of RG type cables has become widespread, so it is sometimes still used today, although this principle no longer accurately describes the features and characteristics of all cable models available on the market.
If you need a coaxial cable of the RG-1160 type for suspension, RG-1160BVM or you are looking for a replacement for the old RG-11 cable on a cable with a standard 60% braid, we recommend that you pay attention to the modern FinMark F1160BVM model.
If you cannot find a cable with the necessary parameters yourself, ask a question using the form on the website or contact your DEPS manager – we will try to find the best option in the shortest possible time.
