Usage:
FinMark LTxxx-SM-18-2×1.2CW, LTxxx-SM-18-4×1.2CW optical cable is designed for hanging on supports of communication lines and electric power supply lines, between houses and other objects, with a possibility of distant power supply.
Design:
A cable with 1-4 optical modules, that can accommodate up to 24 optical fibers, and 2 (4 in LTxxxSM-18-4 × 1.2CW) insulated copper conductors with 1.2 mm diameter for remote power supply, wound around the central strength element. It is a modification of the LTxxx-SM-18 design.
The gaps between the optical modules and copper conductors are filled with a hydrophobic water-blocking compound. In a cable with a small number of fibers, so-called “filler” modules are used instead of the missing optical modules. The outer sheath is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene. The supporting strength element is made of galvanized twisted wire, which provides the cable with high resistance to longitudinal tension.
The optical fiber cable is manufactured with Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G.652.D) – review the specifications here. At the customer’s request, the optical cable can be manufactured with fibers compliant with ITU-T G.655.
