Description
Usage:
For laying in 1-3 categories of soils (without cryosolic deformations), in cable-conduit lines and pipelines on bridges and pipe bridges, in tunnels, collectors at the entry into a building, including places infested with rodents, and on the exterior walls of building and structures.
Design:
Optical cable with a central optical module, which can accommodate up to 24 optical fibers. It is a lightweight modification of the UTxxx-SM-03-T design. The armor layer is made of corrugated steel tape and, in addition to mechanical protection, serves as a hydrobarrier that prevents moisture diffusion through polymer sheaths towards the optical fiber.
A water-blocking tape is laid between the armor and the optical module. The outer sheath is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene. To provide additional structural strength, two steel meedenger rods are placed in the outer sheath.
