Description

Usage:

So called «patchcord» cable for making connection cords (patchcords), for interblock connections on communication nodes and data processing centers; symplex cable for inside installations. This cable is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations in places not infested with rodents.

Design:

The cable contains one (PS001) optical fiber or two (PS002) optical fibers in a 0.9mm buffer. It can be either single-mode (SM) or multimode (MM) fiber. The outer sheath is made of non-flammable halogen-free low-smoke material – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen).

At the customer’s request, it is possible to manufacture in a PVC plastic sheath. Resistance to longitudinal tension of the cable is provided by a reinforcing layer of Kevlar (aramid) fibers.

The optical fiber cable is manufactured with Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G.652.D). At the customer’s request, the cable can be manufactured with fibers compliant with ITU-T G.657.A1 (single-mode fiber with reduced attenuation at bends). In this case, the “Flex” index is added to the marking. The minimum bending radius of such a cable is much smaller than that of a typical one – up to 20…30 mm.
