Description

Usage:

A cable with a sheath made of non-flammable, low-smoke, halogen-free plastic compound (LSZH) can be used for organizing cable entries in a building, laid inside buildings, in risers, attics, basements, channels and protective pipes of cable duct systems. Compact dimensions and small weight allows it to be pulled (or air-blown) into plastic pipes. This design is also convenient for organizing cable entry into a building from manholes and channels of a cable duct system.

Design:

A cable with 6-12 optical modules wound around a dielectric central strength element. Can accommodate up to 144 optical fibers. Inside the modules is hydrophobic gel. To prevent the longitudinal spread of moisture, moisture-proof fibers are located between the modules.

A layer of reinforcing aramid (Kevlar) threads placed atop of the cable core provides sufficient resistance to tension, while diameter and weight remain relatively small. The cable sheath is made of non-flammable low-smoke thermoplastic (LSZH).
The fully dielectric design eliminates any electromagnetic effects on the cable, and makes it unnecessary to address grounding and electrical safety issues during installation and operation.

The cable is manufactured with Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G.652.D), review the specifications here. At the customer’s request, the cable can be manufactured with fibers compliant with ITU-T G.655.
