Description
Usage:
The UTxxx-SM-21 cable is intended for outdoor use and hanging on poles of communication lines, urban electric transport, between buildings and other objects. The optical cable is made only of dielectric materials, which allows the cable to be hanged on poles of electric transport contact network or power lines with an electric field potential up to 12 kV.
Design:
A fully dielectric optical cable with a central optical module, which can accommodate up to 24 fibers. Two load-bearing strength elements with 1.5-2.6 mm diameter provide the necessary resistance to tension. The FRP rods are located symmetrically on both side of the optical module, therefore the cable has a flat shape. The sheath is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene. Compact dimensions, low weight and the absence of any electrical influences make this cable an excellent solution for the “last mile” sections.
The cable is available in three versions designed for different maximum tensile loads: 1 kN, 1.5 kN and 2.7 kN.
For cable fastening, it is recommended to use Crosver ASF-SS anchor clamps for 1 kN cables, and Crosver PA-37 or Klin H4 clamps for 1.5 kN and 2.7 kN cables.
