Description

Usage:

For laying in all types of soil (without cryosolic deformations), in cable-conduit lines and pipelines on bridges and pipe bridges, in tunnels, collectors at the entry into a building, including places infested with rodents, and on the exterior walls of building and structures.

Design:

Optical cable with 6-12 optical modules wound around a central power element, which can accommodate up to 144 optical fibers. The voids between the optical modules are filled with a hydrophobic water-blocking compound. In a cable with a small number of fibers, so-called “filling” modules are used instead of the missing optical modules. The armor layer is made of corrugated steel tape and, in addition to mechanical protection, serves as a hydrobarrier that prevents moisture diffusion through polymer sheaths towards the optical fiber. The two-layer sheath of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene provides the cable with high strength and reliable protection against moisture.

The optical fiber cable is manufactured with Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G.652.D).
