Description
Purpose:
For laying in soils of 1-3 categories (without frost deformations), in cable ducts and pipelines on bridges and overpasses, in tunnels, collectors at the entrance to the house, including in places infested with rodents, as well as on the external walls of buildings and structures.
Design:
Optical cable with a central optical module, which can accommodate up to 24 optical fibers. It is a slightly lighter modification of the UTxxx-SM-04-T design. In which, instead of a water-blocking tape, a water-blocking compound is used between the armor and the optical module.
The armor layer is made of corrugated steel tape and, in addition to mechanical protection, serves as a hydrobarrier that prevents moisture diffusion through polymer sheaths towards the optical fiber.
The outer sheath is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene. To give additional strength to the structure, two strength elements made of steel wire are placed in the outer sheath.
The optical cable uses Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G .652.D).
