- Cable type UT
- Design self-supporting
- Application Suspension
Description
Usage:
For hanging on supports of communication lines and electrical power supply lines, urban electric transport lines, between houses and other objects
Design:
Type “8” cable (with an outward supporting element) with one optical module, which can accommodate up to 24 optical fibers. The armor layer is made of corrugated steel tape and serves as additional protection against external influences and rodents at the cable entry points into buildings and structures. A water-blocking tape is laid between the armor and the optical module.
The outer sheath is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene. The supporting strength element is made of galvanized twisted wire, 3.0 or 3.6 mm thick, which provides the cable with high resistance to longitudinal tension.
The cable uses Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G. 652.D), review the specifications here. At the customer’s request, the cable can be manufactured with fiberscompliant with ITU-T G.655.
