- Cable type FTTH
- Design dielectric
- Application Suspension
Description
Purpose:
FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-28Ro “last mile” optical distribution cable, for use in FTTH networks with 1, 2 or 4 fibers. It is designed for laying inside buildings, in risers, in attics, in basements, pipelines, in boxes, on plinths, in offices and apartments, as well as for hanging between buildings and poles (self-supporting structure). Easily attached to any flat surfaces, simple and convenient for preparation and installation.
Fully dielectric structure allows the cable to be used in conditions of electromagnetic fields, does not require grounding of power elements.
Cables with reduced losses at bends “Flex” can be laid inside apartment buildings or offices in cramped conditions. On plinths, jambs, with sharp turns of the route, when installing cables using brackets.
Design:
The cable contains one, two or four optical fibers that comply with the ITU-T Recommendation G.652.D (standard single-mode fiber with a suppressed “water peak”). The outer sheath is made of halogen-free, low-smoke, flame-retardant material – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-28Ro, unlike the similar-designed FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-28 cable, has rounded edges of the outer sheath. Resistance to longitudinal tension of the cable is provided by two strength elements made of fiberglass rods. The supporting element for cable suspension is also made of fiberglass rod with a diameter of 1.0 mm.
The cable can also use fibers that comply with the ITU-T Recommendation G.657.A2 (single-mode fiber with reduced bending losses). In this case, the cable marking uses the index “Flex”. The minimum bending radius of such a cable is much smaller than the usual one – up to 10…30 mm.
