Description
Usage:
FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-28 “last mile” optical distribution cable is used in FTTH networks with 1, 2 or 4 fibers. Self-supporting design alows it to be hanged between buildings and poles, it can also be laid inside buildings, in risers, in attics, in basements, pipelines, cable trunkings and along baseboards, in offices and apartments. It is easy-to-install and can be easily processed and attached to any flat surface.
Fully dielectric design allows the cable to be used in places under influence of electromagnetic fields, and does not require grounding of power elements.
Cables with reduced loss at bends “Flex” can be laid inside apartment buildings or offices in cramped space. Along baseboards, door frames, in case cable route has sharp turns, when cable is installed using brackets
Design:
The cable contains one, two or four optical fibers compliant with the ITU-T Recommendation G.652.D (standard single-mode fiber with low water peak). The outer sheath is made of non-flammable halogen-free, low-smoke material – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). Two strength elements made of fiberglass (FRP) provide cable with suitable resistance to longitudinal tension. The supporting element for cable suspension is a fiberglass rod with 1.0 mm diameter.
The cable can also use fibers that comply with the ITU-T Recommendation G.657.A1 (single-mode fiber with reduced bending losses). In this case, the cable marking uses the index “Flex”. The minimum bending radius of such a cable is much smaller than usual – up to 20…30 mm.
