Description

Usage:

FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-08 “last mile” optical distribution cableis used in FTTH networks. Self-supporting design alows it to be hanged between buildings and poles, it can also be laid inside buildings, in risers, in attics, in basements, pipelines, cable trunkings and along baseboards, in offices and apartments. It is easy-to-install and can be easily processed and attached to any flat surface.

When organizing cable entry into the building, the messenger rod can be cut off. In such case, inside the building will be used the remaining part of the cable with completely dielectric design, which can be used in under the infuence of electromagnetic fields and does not require grounding of power elements.

Cables with reduced loss at bends “Flex” can be laid inside apartment buildings or offices in cramped space. Along baseboards, door frames, in case cable route has sharp turns, when cable is installed using brackets

Design:

The cable contains one, two or four optical fibers that compliant with the ITU-T Recommendation G.652.D (standard single-mode fiber with low water peak). The outer sheath is made of non-flammable halogen-free, low-smoke material – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). Two strength elements made of fiberglass (FRP) provide cable with suitable resistance to longitudinal tension. The supporting element for cable suspension is made of phosphated steel wire with 1.0 mm diameter.

The cable can also be manufactured with fibers compliant with Recommendation ITU-T G.657.A1 (single-mode fiber with reduced bending loss). In this case, the cable marking includes “Flex” index. The minimum bending radius of such a cable is much smaller than that of a usual one – up to 20…30 mm.
