Description

Usage:

The FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-18Pro subscriber optical cable is designed for use in FTTH networks. The self-supporting design allows the cable to be hanged between buildings and poles. It can be laid in attics, basements and risers at the entry points into a building. It is easy-to-install and can be easily processed and attached to any flat surface.
A distinctive feature of the FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-02 Pro cable is a special packaging that makes it possible to unwind the cable from the reel without removing it from the cardboard box. Unhindered rotation of the reel is ensured by two additional plastic side supports inside the box. The cable can be easily pulled out through the opening on one of the sides of the box, without being deformed or twisted.

If necessary, the position of the drum can be fixed using the switches located in the side openings of the box. In the “N” position, rotation is permitted, and in the “H” position, it is maximally restricted.

Design:

The FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-18Pro cable contains one, two or four optical fibers compliant with the G.652D recommendation (standard single-mode fiber with low water peak). The outer sheath is made of flame-retardant, halogen-free, low-smoke material – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). Two strength elements made of stell wires provide cable with suitable resistance to longitudinal tension. The supporting element for cable suspension is made of phosphated steel wire with a diameter of 1.0 mm.

At the customer’s request, the cable can be manufactured with G.657.A optical fiber.
