FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-01/Flex distribution optical cable
FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-01/Flex distribution optical cable
- Cable type FTTH
- Design dielectric, Incombustible
- Application Inside buildings
Description
Usage:
FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-01 “last mile” distribution optical cable is used in FTTH networks. It is intended for laying inside buildings, in risers, attics, basements, pipelines, cable trunkings and along baseboards, in offices and apartments. It is easy-to-install and can be easily processed and attached to any flat surface.
Fully dielectric design allows the cable to be used in places under influence of electromagnetic fields, and does not require grounding of power elements.
Cables with reduced loss at bends “Flex” can be laid inside apartment buildings or offices in cramped spaces. Along baseboards, door frames, in case cable route has sharp turns, when cable is installed using brackets.
Design:
The cable contains one, two or four optical fibers compliant with Recommendation
ITU-T G.652.D (standard single-mode fiber with low water peak). The outer sheath is made of non-flammable halogen-free low-smoke material – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). Two strength elements made of fiberglass (FRP) provide cable with suitable resistance to longitudinal tension.
The cable can also be manufactured with fibers compliant with Recommendation ITU-T G.657.A1 (single-mode fiber with reduced bending loss). In this case, the cable marking includes “Flex” index. The minimum bending radius of such a cable is much smaller than that of a usual one – up to 20…30 mm.
