Description
Purpose:
Patchcord optical cable PS001-SM-02 is intended for the manufacture of connecting cords (patchcords), for inter-unit connections at communication nodes and data centers, connecting subscribers in PON networks. This cable is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations in areas not infested with rodents.
Design:
The cable contains one optical fiber in a dense easily removable buffer. This single-mode fiber meets the requirements of the ITU-T Recommendation G.657.A1, which allows laying the cable with a small bending radius without increasing losses. The outer sheath is made of halogen-free low-smoke material that does not spread combustion – LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). Resistance to longitudinal tension of the cable is provided by a reinforcing layer of Kevlar (aramid) fibers.
The casing is produced in two color options:
Black – light-stabilized, for outdoor installations
White – more aesthetic for indoor use.
