Description
Usage:
FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-02 “last mile” distribution optical cable is used in FTTH networks. It is designed for laying in buildings, risers, attics, basements, pipelines, along baseboards, in offices and apartments. Easily attached to any flat surface, simple and convenient in preparation and installation.
Cables with reduced losses at bends (“Flex”) can be laid in cramped places inside apartment buildings or offices: along baseboards or jambs, when sharp turns or use of clamps during installation are unavoidable.
Design:
The cable contains one, two or four optical fibers compliant with Recommendation ITU-T G.652.D (standard single-mode fiber with low water peak). The outer sheath is made of halogen-free, low-smoke, flame-retardant material — LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). Resistance to longitudinal stretching of the cable is provided by two steel wire strength elements.
The cable can also use fibers compliant with Recommendation ITU-T G.657.A1 (single-mode fiber with reduced bending loss). In this case, the cable marking uses the index “Flex”. The minimum bending radius of such a cable is much smaller than usual – up to 20…30 mm.
