Description

Usage:

For laying in 1-3 categories of soils (without cryosolic deformations), in cable-conduit lines and pipelines on bridges and pipe bridges, in tunnels, collectors at the entry into a building, including places infested with rodents, and on the exterior walls of building and structures.

Design:

Optical cable with 5-26 optical modules wound around a central strength element, which can accommodate up to 312 optical fibers. In a cable with a number of fibers of 4 – 144, optical modules are arranged in one layer, and for a larger number of fibers – in two layers.

The voids between the optical modules are filled with a hydrophobic water-blocking compound. In a cable with a small number of fibers, so-called “filling” modules are used instead of the missing optical modules. The armor layer is made of corrugated steel tape and, in addition to mechanical protection, serves as a hydrobarrier that prevents moisture diffusion through the polymer sheaths towards the optical fiber. The outer sheath is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene.

The optical fiber cable is manufactured with Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G.652.D) – review the specifications here. At the customer’s request, the optical cable can be manufactured with fibers compliant with ITU-T G.655.
