Description
Application:
FinMark F660BVMcu coaxial cable with a wave impedance of 75 Ohm is designed for transmitting analog and digital signals in cable, satellite and terrestrial television distribution networks, including those using DOCSIS 2.0 or DOCSIS 3.0, connecting video surveillance systems, connecting terrestrial television and satellite antennas.
Compared to the 59th series cables, it has a central core of increased cross-section and improved electrical characteristics.
The cable has a copper central conductor and is additionally reinforced with steel wire, combining good electrical characteristics and the possibility of suspended installation.
The main places for laying the FinMark F660BVMcu cable are suspension between buildings, on supports, external laying on walls and on the roofs of buildings.
Design:
The FinMark F660BVMcu cable in cross-section has the appearance of a “figure eight” with an outer sheath of polyvinyl chloride plastic. On one side there is a coaxial part consisting of a copper central conductor, a physically foamed polyethylene dielectric, a two-layer screen of aluminum foil glued to the dielectric and a braid of 60% filling. The other part of the sheath contains a power steel wire, which can be completely disconnected for ease of cable processing.
Cable designation type RG-6, RG-660 Cu
Among the offers from various manufacturers, it is quite common to find markings of coaxial cables RG-6 with a standard braid or RG-660.
Such markings first began to be used in the middle of the 20th century for cables for various purposes. The designation of RG type cables has become widespread, so it is sometimes still used today, although this principle no longer accurately describes the features and characteristics of all cable models available on the market.
If you need a coaxial cable with a copper central core of the RG-660 Cu type for suspension, RG-660BVM or you are looking for a replacement for the old RG-6 copper cable on a cable and with a standard braid, we recommend that you pay attention to the modern FinMark F660BVMcu model.
If you cannot find a cable with the necessary parameters yourself, ask a question using the form on the website or contact your DEPS manager – we will try to find the best option in the shortest possible time.
Packaging
For ease of transportation, storage and installation, the FinMark F660BVMcu cable is supplied in 305 m reels.
