Description

Usage:

For hanging on supports of communication lines and electrical power supply lines, urban electric transport lines, between houses and other objects.

Design:

A cable with 5-12 optical modules wound around a central power element, which can accommodate up to 144 optical fibers. The voids between the optical modules are filled with a hydrophobic water-blocking compound. In a cable with a small number of fibers, so-called “filling” modules are used instead of the missing optical modules.

The armor layer is made of corrugated steel tape and serves as additional protection against external influences and rodents at the points of cable entry into buildings and structures. The outer sheath is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene. The supporting strength element is made of galvanized twisted wire, 3.6, 4.2 or 5.1 mm thick, which provides the cable with high resistance to longitudinal tension.

The optical fiber cable is manufactured with Fujikura FutureGuide – LWP optical fiber (compliant with ITU-T G.652.D) – review the specifications here. At the customer’s request, the optical cable can be manufactured with fibers compliant with ITU-T G.655.
