Optical distribution cable FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-18Ro/Flex
Optical distribution cable FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-18Ro/Flex
- Cable type FTTH
- Design self-supporting
- Application Suspension
Description
Purpose:
FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-18Ro “last mile” optical distribution cable, for use in FTTH networks with 1, 2 or 4 fibers. Designed for laying inside buildings, in risers, attics, basements, pipelines, offices and apartments, as well as for laying between houses and poles (self-supporting structure). Easily attached to any flat surfaces, simple and convenient for processing and installation.
Cables with reduced bend losses “Flex” can be laid inside apartment buildings or offices in cramped conditions. Along skirting boards, jambs, with sharp turns of the route, when installing cables using brackets.
Design:
The cable contains one, two or four optical fibers, in accordance with the G.652D recommendation (standard single-mode fiber with suppressed “water peak”). The outer sheath is made of non-flammable halogen-free low-smoke material – LSZH (Low Smoke ZeroHalogen). FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-18Ro, unlike the similar-designed FinMark FTTHxxx-SM-18 cable, has rounded edges of the outer sheath. Resistance to longitudinal tension of the cable is provided by two power elements made of steel wires. The supporting element for cable suspension is made of phosphated steel wire with a diameter of 1.0 mm.
The cable can also use fibers that comply with the ITU-T Recommendation G.657.A2 (single-mode fiber with reduced bending losses). In this case, the cable marking uses the index “Flex”. The minimum bending radius of such a cable is much smaller than usual – up to 10…30 mm.
